Bomadi Bridge
Bomadi town could boast of no bridge over the Forcados River that separated its territory from the mainland in Nigeria’s Delta State. While it was a majority shareholder at Setraco Nigeria Limited, Nadeem Group stepped up to span the 612 meter-wide waterway with the Bomadi bridge.

Suspended 10 meters above the water, the 36 meter long spans that make up its length are supported on a substructure of 1300 millimeter diameter bored piles erected in the river. The post-tension beams that undergird the spans could only be put in place after an extensive study of the site’s constraints. These beams were ultimately delivered through a beam launcher, which allowed a safe, efficient and precise process. It was notably the first time that this process had been used in Nigeria.
